This competition is about sharing the stories of young people about their experiences of hate crime, prejudice or when a bystander has stepped in to help. The entries should be an image and/or caption which can be shared on Twitter and Instagram. Entrants must be 16-25 to be considered for entry to win an iPad.

To enter the End Everyday Hate competition please complete this form. By submitting this form you give Action on Prejudice and YouthLink Scotland permission to share your story and competition entry. If for any reason you later wish to rescind your permission please get in touch with Sarah Robinson Galloway at srobinson@youthlinkscotland.org as soon as possible.

Competition Entries

  • In order to be entered into the competition you need to be 16-25. However, you can send in your entry if you are outwith these parameters and we will share it but it will not be considered for the competition.
  • We will only use your email address or phone number to get in touch with you about this competition, for example for additional information about your story or to let you know you’re a finalist. We will not pass your email address on to any third parties
  • Please let us know how you prefer to be contacted. We will only contact you using the details you provide in relation to this competition or Action on Prejudice.
  • If you would like to hear about other work YouthLink Scotland is doing please indicate below if you give your permission for us to use your contact details to:
  • You can use this space to tell us your story of prejudice or hate crime. This will give a bit of context to your competition entry and should be no longer than 300 words. We may contact you about using it as a blog, but this is not a requirement and nothing will be published without your permission.
