National Month of Action Sense over Sectarianism Competition
Sense over Sectarianism are hosting a Month of Action which will take place in February 2020 and they are delighted to announce details of their SOS National Competitions and Awards.
Four awards will be split over two competitions:
- Art Display Competition (pupils will be invited to make art about the topic of sectarianism/tackling sectarianism)
- (1) Primary Award and (1) Secondary Schools Award
- School Project Competition (submissions to include a 2 minute (maximum) YouTube video)
- (1) Primary Award and (1) Secondary Schools Award
This is a national competition and will be voted on by public vote via Twitter. Prizes of £250 for each award will be made to the winning schools. Videos will be hosted on the Action on Sectarianism (AoS) YouTube channel.
Key competition timings:
– 4th December comps open
– 31st January comps close
– 3rd February twitter polls open
– 10th February twitter polls closes at Midday
– 14th February winners announced
