Talking Prejudice events

UPDATE:

These events will now likely take place online. Please do still sign up and let us know you are interested!

We are hosting another set of Talking Prejudice events which will provide youth workers and other community practitioners with the tools and resources they need to be able to talk about prejudice, discrimination and hate with young people.

This FREE event will allow participants the opportunity to find out about different activities, services and tools they can use to encourage discussion about prejudice, diversity and inclusion. The sessions will be interactive and an opportunity to connect with other like-minded individuals.

Participants will get to see & take away copies of the newest resource by YouthLink Scotland, ‘Speak Up!’ A resource for young people to find out how to be active bystanders if they witness a hate crime.

Additionally, there will be an introduction to Action on Prejudice and the work we are doing to highlight the tools and resources available across Scotland.

Events will take place in Glasgow on 23rd March, Inverness on 5th May and Stirling on 2nd June.
