Embrace Differences – Conflict Resolution in Practice

You are invited to attend FCE’s Annual Conference, Embrace Differences – Conflict Resolution in Practice, on Thursday 05 September 2019, 9:30 to 16:00, at Carnegie Conference Centre, Halbeath Road, Dunfermline KY11 8DY.

Equality Act 2010 is a legislation that offers protection to everyone under the nine protected characteristics (age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage/civil partnership, pregnancy/maternity, race, religion/belief, sex and sexual orientation). Sometimes, the rights of one protected characteristic can conflict with another under the same act.

At this conference, you will learn from speakers and workshop leaders on how these challenges can be managed by using the law, setting fair policies or creating community cohesion initiatives.

This free conference aims to help organisations to manage potential conflicts when designing or delivering services as well as managing the needs and values of a diverse workforce.

Attached is a flyer of the conference.  Information about speakers and workshops are listed on our website: https://centreforequalities.org.uk/fce-annual-conference/
